Year One: Finding Who We Are

Participants in the Year One cohort have all stepped into Presbytery leadership within the last year. During the residency, they will build relationships with one another that will anchor their PLF experience and explore the topic "Finding Who We Are."

MONDAY Discussion of system expectations and needs and how those intersect with the role of the Presbytery leader

TUESDAY Locating yourself in the system and exploring the shift from where you were/what role you were previously in and where you are now

WEDNEDAY What are the stories you've been told, or the stories you tell yourself?

THURSDAY Managing conflict can require different styles and tools; what are your most familiar styles?

As someone who had served in an Associate Executive role for six years, I was curious to see if
PLF would be valuable for me - and I will say that, without a doubt, PLF has been one of the
most valuable communities and formation opportunities I’ve been part of.  I would recommend
it without hesitation to anyone stepping into a Presbytery leadership role.
